The MULTIPLIERS project aims to promote a more engaging and relevant science education for students by connecting scientific concepts with real-world situations. The design and development of this website began with the creation of its main page and later evolved with the implementation of the Open Schooling Hub, a search tool that provides access to educational materials and resources organized by topic, facilitating the discovery of pedagogical tools.
This project already had a logo and a set of pre-designed icons, each assigned to a specific theme with its own color palette. Building on this visual foundation, we created a structure of rectangular shapes that extended both horizontally and vertically, containing the information for each thematic area. These structured elements helped organize content clearly and effectively, ensuring an intuitive and engaging navigation experience.
To enhance the design, we incorporated animated circular shapes along the page margins, adding a playful touch reminiscent of game pieces. This element introduced a sense of dynamism and reinforced the interactive and fun approach of the project. Large icons and rounded, moving shapes were key in creating a visually coherent, engaging, and learning-focused experience.
